Details

This Pearstone Gold Series HDMI to HDMI Cable is a high-quality HDMI cable that is ideal for use with any equipment that supports 1080p video. It uses triple-shielded 24 gauge internal conductors, for a clear and clean signal transfer. It is certified to fully support the HDMI version 1.3a specification.

HDMI is an all-digital audio/video interface capable of transmitting uncompressed streams. HDMI provides an interface between any compatible digital audio/video source, such as a set-top box, a DVD player, a video game system, or an AV receiver and a compatible digital audio and/or video monitor, such as a digital television (HDTV). It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

In addition to an ultra-high capacity of 10.2 Gbps bandwidth (far in excess of the throughput needed for 1080p video), this HDMI 1.3a cable supports 48-bit (RGB or xvYCC) color depth, as opposed to the previous generations' specified 24-bit depth capacity. Over one billion colors can be displayed with such capacity, trademarked as Deep Color
