Tired of having to edit your digital images to remove the small marks due to specks of dirt on your sensor? These marks are particularly visible in photos taken at small apertures?
This is the answer. It is SensorSwipe from CopperHill Images, USA.
There are a number of sensor cleaning products out there, but many agree that this is the best. It's definitely the most cost effective.
Do you need to clean your sensor? Here's a quick test... Take a photo of the sky or a light wall at your camera's highest aperture (F22 or more). Download the image to your PC and view the image at full screen size. If you see any specks on the image that shouldn't be there then you need to clean your sensor. Choose either the SensorSwipe or SensorSweep (available elsewhere on this site).
Cleaning your sensor with a SensorSwipe is a wet process, i.e. cleaning fluid is involved. If you're looking for a dry process, please consider the SensorSweep (available elsewhere on this site).
The SensorSwipe is a spatula to which you fix a Pec*Pad (available elsewhere on this site). And using a drop or two of Eclipse fluid (also available on this site), you wipe the surface of your camera's digital sensor, to remove and dust or dirt particles.
Note: This product is the SensorSwipe only. If you don't already have Pec*Pads and Eclipse fluid, please buy the D-SLR Sensor Cleaning Kit instead.
The SensorSwipe comes complete with comprehensive instructions. In addition, tutorials are available at www.copperhillimages.com.
