For you convenience, we have a number of shipping options for you to choose from.

Before finalising any order, you can enter your postal code at the beginning of the checkout process to see a list of shipping options and the related costs for your address.

We offer free shipping* on orders over a specified value - see below for more info.

Collection

  • You may collect your goods at our shop - see our contact details for our full address and business hours.
  • If you are not collecting in person, please notify us of this beforehand.

Insured Parcel Post

  • These parcels are sent by insured parcel using the South African Post office.
  • This service typically takes 4 (to major cities) to 10 days (to small towns) for your parcel to reach your post office. We have, however, had instances of parcels taking up to a few weeks to arrive at the destination. so please use this shipping method if your delivery is NOT time critical.
  • Parcels are sent to the post office closest to your address, as determined by the post office, unless specified by yourself.
  • This is the cheapest but slowest shipping method.
  • A tracking number is provided - parcels can be tracked on www.sapo.co.za or by calling 0860 111 502.
  • We do our daily mail run on weekdays at 15:00. Please note that our post office will only process your parcel the following day.
  • The maximum allowable length of a Parcel Post parcel is 1m, with the length plus girth being no more than 2m.

Speed Services

  • These parcels are sent by counter to counter bag.
  • This service typically takes 2 (in major cities) to 4 days (small towns) for your parcel to reach your post office.
  • Parcels are sent to the post office closest to your address, as determined by the post office, unless specified by yourself.
  • This is the most cost effective shipping method, provided you are happy collecting your parcel from the post office.
  • Although Speed Services does offer door-to-door options, we do not make use of this due to cost considerations.
  • A tracking number is provided - parcels can be tracked on www.speedservices.co.za or by calling 0860 023 133.
  • We do our daily mail run on weekdays at 15:00. Please note that our post office will only process your parcel the following day.
  • The maximum allowable size of a Speed Services parcel is 353x250x30mm, weighing no more than 1kg.

Door-to-Door Courier

  • We use a variety of couriers for door-to-door shipments
  • Depending on the courier and your location, these parcels may take between 1 and 3 days to arrive.
  • If you live in an outer-lying area allow a bit longer - some of these areas are only covered once a week.
  • Parcels are delivered to your shipping address and are delivered weekdays, during business hours.
  • A tracking number is provided.
  • We get courier collections throughout the day, with normal daily cut-offs at 14:00 Monday to Thursday and 12:00 on Fridays.

* Free Shipping

  • These parcels are sent using a method of our discretion - if you want a specific shipping method, please select it during the checkout process (at your cost).
  • As a guideline, in Gauteng we use courier for most parcels. Nationwide for small parcels (up to 1kg) we use Speed Services. For large parcels we use courier road freight in the major centres and parcel post in the smaller towns and outlying areas.
  • A tracking number is provided.

In all instances (except collections) we insure our parcels and we accept responsibility for the goods until signed for by you.

We can't unfortunately guarantee delivery times, since this is outside of our control.

Should your parcel be too heavy or big for the shipping method selected, we may have to use an alternate shipping method. We will endeavour to use a shipping method which will meet, as close as is possible, the delivery timeframes of the originally selected method.
